Rewards Catalog

Configure rewards members can redeem with points.

Rewards Catalog

The Rewards Catalog is what members browse and redeem on your program website. You define catalogues (who sees which store), categories (how rewards are grouped), suppliers (who fulfills orders), and individual rewards (title, points, image, and description).

Enable the Rewards Catalog app when you launch a program. After members earn points, they redeem rewards here; fulfilled redemptions become Orders.

Overview

From Rewards → Rewards you can:

  • Add and edit rewards — points cost, images, categories, catalogue, supplier, and visibility filters
  • Import rewards from CSV — bulk load into a catalogue and supplier
  • Manage categories — group rewards on the member site (e.g. Gift Cards, Merchandise)
  • Manage catalogues — separate reward stores with optional tag-based visibility
  • Manage suppliers — fulfillment contacts linked to rewards and orders
  • Search, filter, and export the reward list

Tabs

TabPurpose

CategoriesLabels used to group rewards in the catalogue UI
CataloguesContainers that hold rewards; can be filtered by member/company tags
SuppliersVendors or internal teams that fulfill redemptions
How the pieces fit together. A catalogue is the top-level store a member sees. Categories organize rewards inside that catalogue. Each reward belongs to one catalogue and one or more categories. Suppliers track who fulfills the order when someone redeems.

Where to find it

  • Route: /rewards/{programId}
  • Side navigation: Rewards → Rewards

Member-facing display options (points label, shopping cart, points-to-dollar multiplier) are under Settings → General Settings → Rewards. See Program reward settings.

Prerequisites

  • An open program with the Rewards Catalog app enabled
  • Program administrator access with Editor role (or higher) to add, edit, delete, or import
  • At least one category and one catalogue before adding rewards (create them on the Categories and Catalogues tabs first)
  • A supplier if you track fulfillment by vendor (required for CSV import; optional when adding rewards manually)

Members need points before they can redeem—award points via Points Import, apps, or integrations.

Catalog structure

LayerWhat it controlsRequired?
CatalogueWhich “store” a reward lives in; optional Company Tags / Member Tags limit who sees the whole catalogueRequired per reward
CategoryHow rewards are grouped in the UI (a reward can have multiple categories)Required per reward

Visibility and status

Members only see rewards that pass all applicable rules:

RuleEffect
Reward statusOnly Active rewards are shown
Catalogue statusCatalogue must be Active
Catalogue tagsIf the catalogue has company or member tags, the member must match (via their tags or linked companies)
Reward filters (optional)Per-reward Company Tags / Member Tags on the Filters tab further restrict who sees that item

Leave tag fields empty on a catalogue or reward to make it visible to all eligible members in that catalogue.

Step-by-step

  1. Categories — Create groups (e.g. Gift Cards, Experiences).
  2. Catalogues — Create one catalogue per audience (e.g. Default Catalogue, or regional catalogues with tag filters).
  3. Suppliers — Add fulfillment partners (or your internal team).
  4. Rewards — Add items individually or Upload a CSV per supplier.

Add a category

  1. Open the Categories tab.
  2. Click add new category.
  3. Enter Reward Category name (must be unique).
  4. Save.

Delete is blocked while any reward uses the category (see the Rewards count column).

Add a catalogue

  1. Open the Catalogues tab.
  2. Click add news catalogue.
  3. Set Reward Catalogue Title, Status (Active / Inactive), and optional Company Tags / Member Tags.
  4. Save.

Use tags when only certain segments should see a catalogue—for example, a catalogue tagged Region-West for western dealers only. Delete is blocked while rewards are assigned to the catalogue.

Add a supplier

  1. Open the Suppliers tab.
  2. Click add new supplier.
  3. Complete Status, Reward Supplier Title, and contact fields (Contact Name, Email, Phone, optional Reward Supplier Id).
  4. Save.

Only Active suppliers appear when adding or importing rewards. Delete is blocked while rewards reference the supplier.

Add a reward

  1. On the Rewards tab, click add new reward.
  2. Complete each dialog tab:

Image

  • Upload a reward image, or set External Image URL (URL overrides uploaded image).
  • Radius Image Corners — rounds corners for a gift-card look.

Supplier

FieldNotes
Reward SupplierChoose one of your program’s suppliers (from the Suppliers tab). Leave empty if you do not track fulfillment by vendor.
Cost PriceYour cost (for reporting). Editable on rewards you manage; read-only on Incentable Managed Fulfillment items (see below).
Sort OrderLower numbers appear first in the catalogue
Incentable Managed Fulfillment (read-only for you). Some catalog items—often gift cards—are fulfilled by Incentable on your behalf. They appear with an Incentable Managed Fulfillment badge in the list and on the Supplier tab. You cannot assign that supplier when creating a reward yourself, and Cost Price / supplier fields are locked on those items. Incentable provisions and maintains them; you still set points, categories, catalogue, images, and visibility like any other reward.

Filters (optional)

  • Company Tags — Only members linked to companies with these tags see the reward.
  • Member Tags — Only members with these tags see the reward.

More (existing rewards only) — Created/updated dates and admin names.

  1. Click Create Reward (or Save Reward when editing).

Import rewards from CSV

  1. On the Rewards tab, click Upload.
  2. Step 1 — Select Reward Catalogue and Reward Supplier (one CSV per supplier).
  3. Step 2 — Upload CSV and map columns:
ColumnRequiredNotes
TitleYesUnique for new rewards
DescriptionYes
PointsYes
Reward CategoriesYesSemicolon-separated category names; new categories are created automatically
SkuNoMatch existing SKU to update that reward
PriceNoCost price
Image URLNoExternal image
  1. Review — Rows show as New, Update, or Omit.
  2. Complete import.

Import rules

  • New reward — Unique title (no matching SKU).
  • Update existing — Include Sku that matches an existing reward; CSV data overwrites that record.
  • Duplicate title without SKU match — Omitted.

Search, filter, and export

  • Search — filter by reward title.
  • Filter By StatusActive / Inactive.
  • Filter By Supplier — one or more suppliers.
  • Download — export filtered rewards as CSV (respects current filters).

Delete a reward

Choose Delete from the row menu and confirm. Uploaded images are removed from storage when present.

Program reward settings

Under Settings → General Settings → Rewards (/settings/{programId}), configure member-facing behavior:

SettingPurpose
Reward Points DisplayShow points on the member site
Rewards Shopping CartAllow cart-style redemptions (vs. single-item checkout)
Rewards Points LabelCustom label (e.g. “Points”, “Stars”)
Points MultiplierHow many points equal $1 (used for display and conversion examples)

These apply program-wide; the catalog content itself is managed under Rewards → Rewards.

Tips and limitations

  • Setup before launch — Create categories and catalogues before bulk import or go-live so every reward has a valid home.
  • Inactive hides, not deletes — Set rewards or catalogues to Inactive to hide them without removing history or order links.
  • Tag layering — Catalogue tags restrict the whole store; reward Filters tags restrict individual items. Use catalogue tags for broad audiences and reward filters for exceptions.
  • Unique titles — Duplicate reward names are rejected on create; use SKU-based CSV import to update existing items.
  • Demo programs — CSV Upload and Download are disabled on demo programs; saving new rewards is disabled in the reward dialog.
  • Orders follow suppliers — When members redeem, Orders use the reward’s supplier for fulfillment workflow.
  • Fund (if shown) — If Rewards → Fund appears in your navigation, your program has fulfillment funding enabled. Use it to view deposits, withdrawals, and balance. Adding funding transactions is not available from the program admin—contact Incentable if you need to top up managed fulfillment.
Typical gift-card program: One Default Catalogue (no tag filters) → categories Gift Cards and Merchandise → add suppliers → import or add rewards with points and images → enable Rewards Shopping Cart in settings if members redeem multiple items at once.
  • Programs — Enable Rewards Catalog at launch
  • Orders — Fulfill member redemptions
  • Points Import — Award points so members can redeem
  • Fund — View fulfillment funding balance and history (when enabled for your program)
  • Members — Member tags used for catalogue and reward visibility
  • Companies — Company tags used for catalogue and reward visibility
  • General Settings — Points label, cart, and multiplier (Rewards tab)
  • Rewards API — Sync catalog or redemptions from external systems
